  5. Thanks  for  trying  out  this  demo version of MRBackup Professional.  The
  6. intent for releasing this to the public is to enable you to decide, without
  7. incurring any expense (other than BBS or other network connection fees), if
  8. MRBackup  Professional  will  meet  your  requirements for performing safe,
  9. reliable backups of your Amiga files.
  10.  
  11. PLEASE  NOTE:  This version of MRBackup Professional is "crippleware".  The
  12. "Fast Disk" and SCSI _restore_ capability has been disabled.

  14.     DO NOT RELY ON THESE MODES TO BACKUP AND RESTORE YOUR FILES.

  16. Read it again. OK. Remember, this demo is just a "test drive".

  18. However,  the  AmigaDOS  backup/restore  mode,  ARexx  port  and  other new
  19. features  are  FULLY  SUPPORTED.  This means that this demo is a FREE major
  20. enhancement  for  the  old  shareware  version  of MRBackup.  After careful
  21. consideration,  I  also  decided  to  include  the MRTape-Handler SCSI tape
  22. handler.   Though  it  will  be of little use to you with this demo program
  23. (you'll  get  an  idea of its performance by doing a trial backup), you are
  24. free  to  use  it with other software which "talks" to your SCSI tape drive
  25. (tar, BRU, etc.).  I'd appreciate any feedback that you may have to offer.

  31. public  and  private  networks  and Amiga user groups, provided no fees are
